C1CS14 — the 14th C1 Conversion Symposium is the premier international forum dedicated to the science and technology of C1 chemistry, from fundamental catalysis to industrial process design. Formerly known as the Natural Gas Conversion Symposium, the conference has broadened its scope to reflect the changing energy landscape and the growing role of sustainable feedstocks. 

The scientific programme spans six core topics — light hydrocarbon conversion, syngas chemistry, sustainable aviation fuels, CO₂ utilization, fundamentals of C1 catalysis, and sustainable process design — complemented by a dedicated Catalysis Connected day exploring cross-cutting catalytic concepts. The programme features 4 plenary lectures, 6 keynotes, over 60 oral presentations, flash talks, and two poster sessions. 

C1CS14 brings together around 400 researchers, engineers and decision-makers from academia and industry worldwide, offering a unique environment for knowledge exchange, collaboration and talent recruitment at the intersection of catalysis, chemical engineering and the energy transition.
