C1CS – C1 Conversion Symposium

C1CS – C1 Conversion Symposium is a long-standing international conference series dedicated to advancing the science and technology of C1 chemistry and catalysis. The symposium continues the distinguished legacy of the Natural Gas Conversion Symposium, serving as a global platform for researchers, industry professionals, and academics to exchange ideas and foster interdisciplinary collaboration in the field of one-carbon molecule conversion.

The 13th edition, held in 2024 in Xiamen, marked another milestone in the long history of the NGCS series. Building on this strong foundation, the conference series now evolves under a new identity as C1CS – C1 Conversion Symposium, reflecting a broadened scientific scope that extends beyond natural gas conversion to include CO₂ utilization, syngas chemistry, and emerging C1 transformation technologies.

The upcoming C1CS 2027 represents the 14th edition of this prestigious series and will take place in Rotterdam from Sunday 18 – Thursday 22 April 2027, under the theme From Concept to Industrial Process.” The conference will bring together leading experts from academia and industry to address key challenges in sustainable carbon utilization and catalytic process development, bridging fundamental insights with real-world applications.

Participants will engage in in-depth discussions, share the latest research advances, and explore innovations shaping the future of C1 conversion and catalysis.

We warmly invite you to join us in Rotterdam and be part of this new chapter in a long-standing and evolving conference series.
